The transcribed logs of USRC Thomas Corwin have been published on naval-history.net.
The logs include the search for USS Jeannette in 1880-81.
Editors, new and old, are welcome to help put these transcriptions into good shape.

HMS Woodcock, Yangtze,11.25am: Off Yang Chi, SS Kiang Wo was fired on by Southern soldiers; HMS Woodcock returned fire & waited till 12.30pm
