What a heart warming and wonderful tale.  Just goes to show how important it is to support kids who are doing their best despite the miseries of life. :D :D :D

I got this through my email account :D

Happy World Science Day!
SciStarter: Science we can do together:

Today, thousands of people around the world will celebrate World Science Day, presented by UNESCO. Here are six ways you can get involved.

Today's also a great day to create your personlized citizen science profile on SciStarter. If you've participated in citizen science, this is a convenient way to keep track of your contributions in a centralized location and find your next adventure. If you haven't yet had a chance to participate, your profile will help SciStarter match you with local projects and events aligned with your interests, skills, and location.

Start by creating your citizen science profile, here. You can make it public or keep it private. Here's what my public profile looks like (don't worry if you haven't engaged in any projects or events yet...I literally do this for a living!):

Thank you for being a valued member of the SciStarter community. We are 40,000 strong now (!!) and, together, we are advancing scientific research through more than 2300 projects registered on SciStarter.

Cheers,

Can you help us review Spanish or Italian projects?

Ciao,

We have two non-English language projects and we're looking for people who can review them. So if you can speak Spanish or Italian (or both) please help us out!

The Spanish Project is Archivo Digital Nacional de Puerto Rico -ADNPR-Pasaportes a Republica Dominicana. Please try it out and fill in this short feedback form https://goo.gl/forms/QLvC1Rq8W5Z48mEG2 (which is also linked on the project itself).

The Italian project is Occhio Alle Penne! Please try it out and fill in this short feedback form https://goo.gl/forms/VStOp6oeUQOzpeCB2 (which is also linked on the project itself).

We ask that you please submit your reviews of these projects in English.

Thanks so much for your help!

Grant & the Zooniverse Team
