Bluebell log, 14 March 1921: http://oldweather.s3.amazonaws.com/ADM%2053-71517/ADM%2053-71517-024_0.jpg

9.0 Slipped & proceeded  c/o & speed as requisite for leaving harbour.
9.50 Waglan brg S 3'  c/o & speed as requisite for screening Carlisle during submarine attacks.
12-0-0 Finished submarine attacks as requisite for torpedo target line.  Carlisle Curlew & Colombo firing torpedos

Would have been interesting to witness.  They didn't use live rounds, did they?

The Foxglove also has served as a target for torpedo practice - it seems the RN had it in for the Herbaceous Border class (I love that name for a class of warship  ;D)

Bluebell's log, 6 May 1921, http://oldweather.s3.amazonaws.com/ADM%2053-71518/ADM%2053-71518-022_0.jpg

12-0-0 Fired 21 gun salute

Of course, Bluebell's laconic log keeper couldn't be bothered to say why or what the occasion was...
