Tall ship 'Gloria'

Passed this tall ship on the way to Canary Wharf station today:

Yes she is - and that news-clip may be the first time I've seen a tall ship dressed overall with the yards manned.  I understand why the navies of the world did that, when they wanted show off both ships and crews. ;D

Thanks for the pic of Gloria Geoff, she is beautiful.

I too was close to a tall ship this week. I was down in Cornwall with work and stayed for one night in Charlestown. The Kaskelot is moored in the harbour there. You cant get very close to her in the evening, and it was not very bright so the picture is not as good as I would like but she is a lovely ship.

Thanks for posting this Keith - I prefer the Kaskelot to the Gloria, wood always beats out metal for looks!
