Good luck Su.

Caro and Gordon have managed to send me the file for the ship I requested and I am enjoying my sense of power as I delete double (triple or higher) entries, events without any data, unspecified places which were just visited etc.  I have also unearthed some interesting facts while I was checking on some spelling. I have added them using the [] editorial comment convention. It isn't helping my transcription rate but it really is great fun.

I have now heard from Gordon, so hopefully I will soon have my own ship to edit - thanks for your help in progressing this, Caro.  As I am always bleating on the Forum about missing pages and not getting the whole story, this seems the obvious way to go for me!

I think I'll stick with transcribing, especially since there's still so many ships left to do.
One question, though: According to NavalHistory, HMS Endymion and Pelorus have also been edited, so why are they not on the list of ship histories?

Because I'm on vacation in Cleveland and not keeping the list up-date.  I'll straighten it out later this week. :)

Have you seen her new show, a take-off on Candid Camera only less staged?  Betty White is definitely one of a kind. ;D

Weather here started out in the 70s and sunny, and the last 2 days have been passing showers and 70s sliding into 60s.  Which is supposed to clear up but stay in the 60s.  Very nice sight-seeing weather, mostly.

I haven't seen that yet.  I just heard about it a few days ago from my kids.  Definitely on my list.
