There is a Dutch site called Eerste Wereldoorlog 2014-2018 that has a forum which has a section Documentaries over WO I whcih contains over 200 assorted documentaries on WW I some on naval matters and they do include film clips of HM ships of the WW I period including some of the ones we recorded the logs of. they have another one Film over WO I.

Other WW I movies I just found out about
The better hole
Pack up your troubles
The road to glory
i killed rasputin
captured

I hope this of some use i wish i had found out about documentaries earlier.

more WW I movies:
the fighting 69th
and they are doing a remake of All Quite on the western front which should be coming out in 2013
On the Steel navy message forum posted 15 july 2012 thsy had a CGI film clip from Turning point Battle of Tsushima and a clip from a 1969 Japanese Movie on this battle with Toshiro Mifune. The former has been taken down but it should be pointed out the Japanese navy was trained by the RN and most of their ships were made in England/ If you want to see a pre drednought battleship in action this is the place to go. Old weather.org had a number of logs of these ships. Note the ships with their funnels painted yellow are Russian. i hope someone finds this interesting beside me.
