Interesting... the SCR-179 (and the SCR-178) are two models of radio:

I'm not sure if those two models were in use in 1911 (from the internet it seems more probable they were used after WWI - mainly in WWII, but created in between wars); moreover, those were made for artillery corps... so it's possible that piece of paper has nothing to do with the logbook.
