Oh No - Janet, I'm far worse than that, I found yet another way to cheat!! My sins know no bounds.
If I'm updating a long list I go into it through modify, copy the line below my new entry, and simply re-enter it so that I have a duplicate line, then I just nip in and adjust the details.
If I were Thursdaynext I'd 'quote' a similar table and do exactly the same copy/change cheat to get the columns and rows etc.
Popping the mystery bubble:
table = 'start a table'
/table = 'stop the table here'
tr = 'start a new row in my table'
/tr = 'stop this row now'
td = 'enter a detail for a column'
/td = ''that's the end of the entry for that column'
Of course you have to add the square brackets to these to make them work. You don't need to add any breaks between the column entries - the table will do that for you - and all perfectly lined up!
