Not quite sure where to put this one...

Jan Mayen:
http://www.geonames.org/3041964/jan-mayen.html
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jan_Mayen

I note that it's part of :

 Svalbard and Jan Mayen
607072
A TERR territory
Svalbard and Jan Mayen SJ
population : 2550
78, 20

And Svalbard is admin'd by Norway, so it should be Europe I guess.

Hi Joan, i'd be glad to add the alias, but i've found nothing about Herschel Island  ;D

I've found two distinct Herschel Islands in Canada (Yukon and Ontario), an Isla Herschel in Chile and the island of Oenaro-do in South Korea, which also was called Herschel Island in the past.
Being your post in the Other thread makes me suspect there's one more (british isles maybe?)

I'll re-post to Canada. Sorry if I've led you up the garden path with this one  ::)  :)

I've had some odd things happen myself with the occasional time dilation events.
