There must be a lot more Bear logs that haven't yet been scanned. We are nearing the end of the current lot (circa 1912) but the vessel wasn't decommissioned until 1929 according to the timeline on Naval History.

That's because Bear was broken into 2 voyages - we are waiting for scanning problems to get untangled.
