HMS Kinsha, Hankow, 4.30pm: Chinese steam launch Shen-Yu embarked troops & ammunition & proceeded up river; 5pm: Large lighter of killed & wounded passed down river; 5.30pm: Chinese gunboat passed up river

10 Sept 17 HMS Attentive recorded the downing of a Hostile seaplane. This was the Friedshafen FF 33L #1251 pilot Flugzeugmt Senior Aviation Mate P Wolter KIA and Observer Lt Blank POW of marine Kustenflieger Abteilung Flanderen which was spoting for Battery Deutshland (4 15 inch guns) when it was shot down by Flight Commander Fisher of 4 Squadron RNAS flying a Sopwith camel

Thanks for the info - I've added it to my list of amendments for Attentive. Although it may be some time before they get added! Is there an on-line source I could quote?

The 10 Sep 17 German seaplane loss is from theaerodrome.com there is a day by day air combat loss 100 years ago going on

HMS Saxon, Freshwater Bay, in company with ML 299, 1.20pm: Saw periscope of submarine & heard same on hydrophone; lost all trace of sound; ML 299 went in to War Signal Station to report
