Weather Detective
« on: August 04, 2014, 10:54:47 am »
If you've been reading the blog, you may have noticed that a new citizen science logbook project has launched: http://www.weatherdetective.net.au/.

This was inspired by oldWeather, we encouraged them, we gave them software and advice - but it's an independent project - separately managed. The science team are friends, so I have confidence that they will deliver good science with their observations, but their transcription process might be quite different.

As well as wishing them success, I'm keen to steal all their best ideas and use them to improve oldWeather. So if any of you do try the new project, please report back on anything that they do well.

I think yes - it would be ideal for Philip to find because he started it.  :)
