 ::) :o ::) :o ::) :o

Firefox 42.0 + Win 7 and NO problems.

What if you move the cursor to the bottom of the screen?
What if you wait 60 seconds?

checking now  :)

Right - gave it lots of time (3 minutes) to change anyway and sadly I was mostly right - except that I discovered that if I hover my mouse over the computer task bar the same things happen. :-\

Not me - I'm clumsy enough I've had to delete quite a few of them, but there were never any problems.

Okay it get's more weird. I was pressing 'prev' to get back to a square that I went through quite quickly when double checking my input. After about 6 boxes it stopped moving backwards. Until I moved the mouse to the firefox address line. I think what I'm going to do is to try getting rid of firefox and re-loading it. Is there something weird going on in my computer?  :-\

Way over my head - you need a geek to help you, and that's not me.

I'm also using Firefox and Win 7 and have deleted boxes OK (though with a good deal of muttering ....)

Pah! if this is a deletion race you want...!  ;D ;D ;D

Okay - uninstalled firefox (en-US), closed computer down, and installed firefox (en-GB) and changing the English it uses made - absolutely NO difference at all  :'( :'( :'(

Nothing at all technical - just the fact that I kept forgetting to move from Pan to Draw and hence ended up drawing boxes when I was trying to move the page ....  Sorry not to be more help  :(

This gets me a lot, too. It would be nice if there was a text color change or something a bit more obvious showing the current mode.

Three things that I noticed when I tried a test for Randi with Windows Seven Starter on a notebook testing Eastwind 1947:

1. When I first went in, I hadn't logged in, and I started drawing boxes. (I didn't try transcribing.) It would help if you weren't allowed to draw boxes until you were logged in;

2. I went right out and then came back to Eastwind 1947 and logged in. Both times, logged in or not, I had the white box that says Zoom in, Zoom out, Fit Page etc. Neither time, logged in or not, could I get rid of it, or move it; and,

3. When I logged out, the page didn't noticeably change so I wasn't sure if I was, indeed, logged out. It would be nice to have the page change noticeably on logging out.

I didn't try anything more than draw some tabular boxes on a page and see if they were there on the succeeding page.

my major problem is that (sorry to repeat this) the text/ numbers that I type in are miles away from the detail I'm looking at the typed in detail is tiny on Chrome (it's bigger on firefox, but still miles away).  :'(

The right sidebar changes - when you are signed in your avatar and user show at the top of the right sidebar.  They disappear when you sign out.
