You need to pay attention with this one. Some of my pictures became obscured and then I couldn;t work out how to get into the forum to ask about it. Well worthy project though :)

That's fascinating - it is such a clever idea to use a computer game to show brain function. :D I couldn't seem to download it :-/

That's because it's a smartphone game, AKA not for PCs.
But if you really want it, get an emulator - a program that lets your computer behave like a different system, e.g. behaving like a smartphone so you can use smartphone apps on a PC.

I once used an emulator to run Linux-only programs on a Windows PC, although I must admit I've never used a gaming emulator before.

I got this through my email account :D

Happy World Science Day!
SciStarter: Science we can do together:

Today, thousands of people around the world will celebrate World Science Day, presented by UNESCO. Here are six ways you can get involved.

Today's also a great day to create your personlized citizen science profile on SciStarter. If you've participated in citizen science, this is a convenient way to keep track of your contributions in a centralized location and find your next adventure. If you haven't yet had a chance to participate, your profile will help SciStarter match you with local projects and events aligned with your interests, skills, and location.

Start by creating your citizen science profile, here. You can make it public or keep it private. Here's what my public profile looks like (don't worry if you haven't engaged in any projects or events yet...I literally do this for a living!):

Thank you for being a valued member of the SciStarter community. We are 40,000 strong now (!!) and, together, we are advancing scientific research through more than 2300 projects registered on SciStarter.

Cheers,
Darlene Cavalier

I think I'll pass - the Zooniverse is enough for me. They have plenty of projects, and I highly doubt that will change anytime soon!

What I meant was that I will sign up to advertise OW.
I don't need more projects either.

Thanks for the clarification. I was worried for a while there.

I also noted on this page: https://blog.scistarter.com/2013/12/winter-weather-citizen-science/#sthash.DjRqOkxK.dpbs :

Do you participate in more than one citizen science project? We?ll give you a free T-shirt if you let us pick your brain for 15 minutes! Email Carolyn@SciStarter.com

We are partnering up with WHYY-a National Public Radio station-to help share stories about citizen science projects and people in PA, NJ and DE. If you have a story to share, let us know! Contact Lily@SciStarter.com

If you?d like your citizen science project featured on SciStarter, email Jenna@scistarter.com

So I'm emailing Carolyn to see what's doing :D
