I will search 1 January to 30 June for ice ;)

1 January - San Francisco :P
--- first day of the year and first watch - Blendfeldt did not return from liberty ::)

I'm going by 10's till I get out of California (SanDiego, Oakland, and back to San Francisco)

May 1 - https://catalog.archives.gov/OpaAPI/media/6919263/content/arcmedia/dc-metro/rg-026/585454-noaa/bear/vol107/26-159A-bear-vol107_126.jpg - off we go (I hope).

Walking the links (https://catalog.archives.gov/OpaAPI/media/6919263/content/arcmedia/dc-metro/rg-026/585454-noaa/bear/vol107/26-159A-bear-vol107_005.jpg) seems to bring up the images faster and you see more of the image than if you go through the Archives interface :-\

Craig - Didn't you have a link-walking program at one time?

::) ::) ::)  Presumably only 2nd class post would travel in such uncivilised haste?  ;)

Great!
At the moment the only thing we want is ice reports - but please check both data (I have seen it mentioned in the State of the Sea column) and events pages for mentions of ice.

Note that some days there is no mention of ice because we are in port.
