Bear (1924) -- Discussion: Questions, Comments and Coordination

Welcome to Bear (1924) and a new phase of Old Weather.

As before, this topic is for asking questions and sharing information.
Now it will also be used to help coordinate transcriptions as we develop the new system.

Lots of heavy field ice. They managed all of about 170 miles the last three weeks of the month, after breaking their propeller.

Ice Hunting - Arrived back in Oakland on August 27, 1924, and remained there for the rest of the year.
