That one's cool, but we can play, too.  ;)

They're called Treemaps; here's a link to the template I used if somebody (Hanibal) would like to mess with adding colors and such. I used the Top 100 list for the input data.

  • Better to do it, than live with the fear of it.

Cool stuff, Bob. Thanks!

I think I'll pass on the coloring, though.

Just listening to Radio 4's Inside Science and the intro started by saying that everyone loves penguins and you could look at them from the comfort of your own home - hang on that sounds familiar   :D
Quote
All the way from Antarctica our reporter Victoria Gill brings us the latest news about the citizen science project 'Penguin Watch'. Victoria installed new cameras with Dr Tom Hart and collected guano with Hila Levy. Gemma Clucas (Oxford and Southampton University) gives an update on what will happen with the collected data.

They've not got to that item yet so don't know if interesting or not.

jil -fabulous - THANK YOU SO MUCH!!  :D Yshish is contacting Tom to try and make sure that they name PW on the TV clips - this might be the first sign that the name's getting through. Great that the radio is ahead of the TV (as usual)! We've had a few new folk - but not what one would have hoped for.  I'll chase that down and post it on PW and try getting it round facebook. If only we could get schools joining in.  :-\

Not a problem - 'there are over 350,000 ' that'll be cleared by next week with the popularity of Serengeti  ;) ;D

Snapshot Serengeti is back

 :)

I have totally lost my partner to this, apart from the occasional shout of "Ooh look, a baboon!" etc.

Cant wait until she spots a snake, she is terrified of them!!

I've seen a butterfly, a spotted hyena, an elephant, and 15,000 wildebeest.
Back to the logs.  ;)
