Do you really want every name posted here? Or by 'letters or other misc' did you mean anything inserted into the log books that isn't a log page?

Can I have clarification on this please?

That's what I thought, thanks  ;D I don't think it was clear in the original post that what you are looking for is anything that's not a log page.

HMS Ophir attaches a typewritten and signed note to the log when they stop a vessel, naming the dat, time and position and signed by two officers. Sorry, these have slipped back into the past, but I will post if they do it again.

HMS Avenger 31 May 1917 the last log page since the ship was torpedoed and sunk by the U69 on 14 june 1917. L. Ridland AN RNR No 14842 departed life by drowning accidently fell overboard. They later held a court of inquery to his cause of death and then they spotted ice.

A report of what was onboard a civilian steamer named "Zaire".  The ship and all of its cargo is apparently legit, but a few of the passengers didn't make the grade and were taken into custody.
